I'll see if I can limp the machine past tonight by underclocking it to 1050Mhz (200 FSB instead of 266). I can't put the old Chrome Orb back on because that's only good for 1.2GHz tops. I have a Thermaltake Dragon Orb 3 and an anodized shim on order which should be here tomorrow. This pretty much puts an end to my quest for a quieter PC, but hopefully it should also put an end to my thermal problems.
