As long as the MoBo Companies follow AMD guidlines (99.9% do) then yes it'll work with a new BIOS uograde but seeings how the KT266A is new it'll prolly have it included...In short YES  ...

Interesting: the system info reads me at 1.73 ghz, and gives me a "Performance Rating" of PR2296.
