Finally got it to load a different driver....

after some creative registry editing but now the problem is that the driver called "standard IDE controller" does not work. The computer worked momentairily until I ran the sis setup and changed the driver before this problem began. Is there any way to determine what driver it was usning (M$ one?) and how to tell it to use that driver again by default? I don't understand why it will not load the one that worked before by default.


I glanced at the divice manager briefly when I was able to access all the IDE divices. It only had a primary and secondary controller listed with no bus master controller.
