Agreed, everyone is bitching about floppies but here is the interesting part. All chipset manufacturer's reps that cam to visit me over the ast few months agreed that the floppy is the single most versatile and in-expendable storage media right now.
USB, never liked it too much and as Wen-Chi Chen said: "If we could make it go away, it would be a good thing for everybody". Firewire has been around much longer and is so much more powerful, I don't understand the industry ..
