IF you installed 5.5 over 5.0

Just go to the Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, select IE5 and Tools...( blah blah...) and click on remove.
You will get the option to put back your old settings - IE5.
If this won't work because the backups have been deleted, then your screwed. Try IE6, I've had no special trouble with it at work.
