I had the same problem. I don't know what Netscape version you are using, but if it's NS6 and over, you have to do like LED says since all the goodies (mailboxes, personal settings, newsgroups ...) are stored in C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Mozilla. I had the same problem because I used to simply backup my netscape folder. This didn't work anymore for the latter netscape versions. Everything works fine now though, just replace the new mozilla folder with your backup one and everything should be restored.
