84 degrees centigrade is very dangerously high. But most motherboards have safety features to shut it down when it reaches dangerous temperature levels.My Abit KG7 with AMD 1.333 shuts down when the temp.reaches 50 C. I am still trying to get it to 1.5 ghz at least but no go. Heat problem. Very stable at 1.4 ghz.Using volcano 5 heatsink/fan with two big exhaust fans. |
