It's simple really. the connection is the key point, an it goes to the machine with the direct connection to the cable modem which it filters an protects. just set one pc (yours) as the primary gate way. an it should protect any systems linked to it. Ie INTERNET to MODEM/CARD to PRIMARY INTRANET CONNECTION. which runs the firewall. an links to the rest of the network. so it's not a problem that the other pc's don't have one. as long the only link to the nets 'covered'. Of course that dosn't mater much. if you're worried. just add a copy of zone alarm free to the second pc it won't hurt. an it would serve a a buffer just in case your kid brings home or d/l's some untested software - or you do.
