According to *the* most unbiased source of computer news and info this side of the known galaxy, The Register, AMD wants consumers to know that Windows XP runs "really swell" on their upcoming Palomino processors. So much so that they may end up naming their new processor after the OS.

Does this mean I can get an Athlon Linux or an Athlon BSD? How about an Athlon VAX/VMS
