Go get a copy of ISPEED from HMS.Com free
use it to change setting in Registry,
can try all sorts of setting changes,
find the one that works with "your" system,
and phone lines..
If that does'nt give much improvment
go to USR web site and get the INT STRING manual
and try the string changes. Its trip to digg into this stuff,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
