I am not sure how much we know about who did this yet. OBL is the name the media know and a political figure suitable for blame but it would be best to be accurate, as it it were, and therefore best to research the perpetrators identity very carefully rather than pick a convenient target.
I have a feeling he is being named at this stage simply because of his previous activities. I think the actual perpetrator will probably make them selves known because they will probably want the world to know who did this and why. This was a deliberate attempt to wield power albeit in a psychopathic way.
In addition I think that justice needs to be the order of the day rather than revenge. Misdirected revenge is an injustice which is indistinguishable from the criminal act whereas justice when properly executed is seen and known for what it is, a constructive act.
