The temp that you are changing is only the way the MoBo is reading it from its sensor which your brain can adjust for you, but the Real Problem here is you need to bring that temp down by getting a better CPU Heat/Sink fan combo that will keep that CPU cooler for real, not just the way you read it from the MoBo parts.

If you got a good H/S fan then there is something wrong with it, you are running to hot & will
damage it over time.
