One place to look is Betros Mobile Computing, he is an IBM-authorized refurbisher of ThinkPad laptops. His selection varies week-to-week but right now his top-end is a PII-300 with a 13.3" TFT screen and the works for $599. Low end, a PII-233, same screen, $469, still reasonably equipped.
