Its alomst as though Intel and AMD have swapped hats. Intel have begun providing some credible CPUs and AMD are running around in ever decreasing circles chasing their tail - what happened ?

Toms Hardware's little article on PIII hit the nail on the head (even though the author has clearly gone round the twist in terms of literary devices in endlessy comparing the processor to a family member). Unless Intel put up some good P3 parts people are going to set up with an AMD DDR system.

It is cheaper to get a new mobo and athlon and DDR ram than to get a new P3, I have been checking .
