I use NT to run my office/light-productivity apps and all I care about is that my applications don't crash every 15 minutes, and on the rare chance that something DOES bite the dust, it doesn't proceed to then hose the current OS session. I don't even use most of NT's advanced features and WinMe works just fine for my games; what would I need Win2k for?

OTOH, I WOULD like to become familiar with 2k, and now that I am aware that I can get it for >$90, I may consider it come next hardware upgrade
