I know - Ive posted this before but no harm in trying again...

Here's what Netcom Australia sent me....

"The NetComm Roadster II 56 USB (AM5050, AM5051 and AM5050 Rev2) modems
were designed for use with the Windows 95 and 98 USB-enabled systems
that were available at that time. When Windows 2000 was later
released, due to a Microsoft-modified USB-implementation, it was
discovered that Windows 2000 does not allow these products to function
in its environment.

Since the release of Windows 2000, NetComm now offer the NetComm
Roadster II 56 USB (AM5050 Rev3) that is Windows 2000-compatible.

For those customers that require Windows 2000-compatibility, NetComm
have made a available a special trade-in offer to obtain the NetComm
Roadster II 56 USB (AM5050-Rev3) modem for $135.30 (plus freight) -- a
saving of over $105 off the regular retail price!

To take advantage of this trade-in deal, or for more information, please
call the NetComm Customer Response Team on (02) 9424-2070 between 9am
and 5pm Sydney-time.
