Luckily this time I repartitioned and installed on a separate partition.
It failed on a downloaded file called APPSER~1.CLS, the same one it did the first time I installed. The 600K file is there but must be corrupted.
I will try to track down another copy of it.
Can I do a format of my Win2KPro drive (that's all that's on it) and reinstall. My concern arises since it has moded my config.sys or autoexec.bat file with the dual boot sequence - so I thought it might be a little more complicated than that.

If you have APPSER~1.CLS and probably IEnumN~1.CLS (that failed after Appser~1.cls) then wouldn't mind a copy.
