AMD today launched its new 900Mhz mobile Duron processor based on the Morgan core. At the same time, AMD also launched the 1.1Ghz Athlon 4, AMD's first upgrade to its mobile Palomino processor. The 900Mhz mobile Duron will cost $130, while the 1.1Ghz mobile Athlon 4 will cost $425.

The desktop verions of Athlon 4 and Duron, based on the Palomino and Morgan respectively, will launch next month. The new Athlon 4 will debut at 1.5Ghz and 1.6Ghz, while the Duron will debut at 1Ghz. The pricing on the new processors is still unknown at this time.
