If you have an old AT P/S laying around you can use it straight forward.
If your P/S is an ATX type the green wire on the MoBo connector must be connected to a black wire, the green wire is just grounded this way.
The black wire can be one on the MoBo connector (recommended)
or on a black wire on a 4 wire drive connector. Just cut the wires about half way between P/S & MoBo connector, stripe off about 1/2 inche of the wire insulation on the two wires leading from P/S & twist them together & wrap with wire nuts or & tape the connections when done.

To wire in the fan cut a drive connector's yellow & black wire, stripe off about 1/2 inche of the wire insulation on the two wires leading from P/S & the stripe fans red & black wire also if needed. Now twist P/S black wire to fans black wire & wrap with wire nuts or & tape the connections when done. Now twist P/S yellow wire to fans red wire & wrap with wire nuts or & tape the connections when done.
