Havent gone back to Mother Board monitor since format c:.
Since it makes your CPU cycles max out in the System monitor window, now I see what is really going on.
It must be a low priority thread running 'cause it doesnt appear to be slowing me down that much, but I have closed down everything except explorer in my CtrlAltDel and it still sits there....
What's the go...? PS - Win98SE...havent checked the Win2KPro boot side yet.
