It really seemed, Be was waiting for this to happen. As it was the only way they could have turned a profit. I really wish they would have continued development of BeOS, as it was very nice OS. But trying to compete in that market and be profitable would be very difficult. I highly doubt Palm will continue any development of beOS, but I would like to see what they have planned for the Palm OS now.
