The almight JC has a few things to say about Doom 3 technology with current and future gfx cards. Interesting stuff. A GF3 with all features turned on will do 30fps. ATI's upcoming R200 will be able to render everything in a single pass(!!!) Keep in mind that D3 will be released maybe Christmas 2002, so a GF3 will be the low end product at the time (what an odd thought considering how much I paid for it ).
