I have a Plextor 16/10/40, DMA was already enabled in my
new system as it came from the manufacturer.

Ah, so green just means ready to spin-up on demand, but
the drive is not actually spinning the disk unless the
LED is yellow, is that correct? Or is the disk spinning
under green, but the drive just isn't in the process of
reading anything at that moment?
