Adam, your better bet is, on your VERY FIRST boot following the new motherboard installation, to boot to "Safe Mode" and manually delete EVERYTHING listed in the device manager, then re-boot and let Windows re-find everything.

You may need to have your driver disks handy, though, and you may need to reconfigure some settings (e.g. network card if you have a DSL/cable connection or something).

It's an afternoon's work, yes, but it will give you a cleaner system afterwards without actually reinstalling Windows.
