That's pretty much what the Sircam will do if the AV Protection has deleted the Sircam.exe and not removed the other files. No exe's will run. But on Donna's computer it would say Sircam.exe not found, Blah, blah, blah can't open Sysedit, regedit, etc...you name it in .exe's and they would not open. The fix at Norton AV's site will fix that problem since their Sircam Fix is not an .exe file. Finding the files that this virus creates on the computer are a real trip......Manually extracting it can be hazardous.

I have also had a WIN Hybris Gen be almost as problamatic but the exe's would run with it in there, just everything you tried to open had an illegal operation and promptly crashed. Neighbor managed to get this one.

Check out the AV sites and read up and see if any of the files are on your mom's computer.
