There are days when you just want to take a hammer to the whole setup and bang away. I've had one of those. Well at least the sound drivers are hanging in there. But it started Blue screening on shut down with odd errors......been burning files to CD's figuring I'd format "C".(I only format C if I am left with no other choice) Then I thought , well I'll remove the original 256 meg stick of PC 133 ram and leave the new one in. Wonder what this gets me? Got me a clean shutdown/restart with no Blue screen telling me
Fatal Exception OE has occurred at VXD VCache(01), Blah, blah then press any key, Black screen and a message from the monitor "Out of HZ range". Oh cute. OR if I used Explorer today I got
Explorer caused a stack fault in Module Kernel32.dll at 0177bff742a3. Geeze!THat word "Stack Fault" made me decide to pull the older stick of ram.
Now have I finally got to the bottom of this????
Who knows.Time will tell.
