Download Virtual Dub1.4 or later...
If the file is a *.dat change the extension to *.mpg. Not sure if VDub works with *.dat files.
In Virtual dub you have to FILE>Save to wav>.
That will generate your WAVs....easy peasy!! Then bring them into oneo f your palyer - music match or what ever and reincode to mp3 if that is totally necessary.
I only convert to mp3 so that my setop DVD player can play them.
