The Logitech I got cost $40 US. It uses RF, so you don't need a line of sight, but the range is listed as 6 feet (about 2 m).

I plan to use it when I get a computer hooked up to my entertainment system, but I'll probably need a PS2 extension cable to get the receiver within range of my chair.
