I'd go to the site of whoever made your NIC, and see if there are any DOS drivers for it. If there are, install them, and you should be able to copy all the .cab files, etc, from the CD to the laptop's HD, and install from the HD.
If you can't find any DOS drivers, you could use something like Interlink, from DOS 6.x, and copy everything through the serial port with a null modem cable. Start it going at 11 pm, and shut it off the next morning.
I know Norton has a program that will do that, too, but I don't know what it's called offhand.
Anybody know what I'm talking about?
