I bought a Compaq laptop...and it came with WinMe...also, Compaq has the stupid kind of restore CD...ya know, they put two partitions on your HDD? It sucks balls. Anyway, the day after I got it, I re-partitioned and installed Win2k. It is faster and about a million times as stable. 2k *almost* never crashes. So umm...anybody who reads this, and is considering buying WinMe...DON'T DO IT! You might as well throw your computer out the window...'cause it won't be of much use if you install Winblows Me.
