I bought an AXIA chip about a week and a half ago, and it was overheating at stock (1 GHz). Tried to remove Super Orb to return the chip, damaged the core (small chip of the one side), and the retail store wouldn't accept it back 'cause of physical damage. Now I'm out $200 (CDN) because of the one chip (still works but only lasts 3 min in games and it freezes), $79 for the Duron I replaced it with, and $300-$400 for the windshield I punched 'cause I was mad. I know I won't accomplish much by calling AMD but I'm going to try calling them and see if I can get another chip at least (not1).
