I love it when people say the don't have choices and it's Microsoft's fault. You have so many choices you could spend years installing every OS on the market right now. The fact that you have restricted yourself to 1 choice doesn't mean the others don't exist.
Last time I checked, Apple was still in business and going strong. And IBM leads the rest of the industry (even MS) in software sales. I really don't know where you were headed with that one. Nuff said.
And last, but not least, Bill & Melinda Gates donate hundreds of millions to charity every year.
No one is forcing you to do anything. The reason Windows is dominant is because it is EASY TO USE, so people BUY IT. You vote with your $$$$, and if MS wasn't popular and producing the best product on the market, they wouldn't be President right now.
Take a look at your arguments, and you'll see that they apply to Apple more than anyone else.
