I am using a windows 2k client connected to another server. I am perplexed as to why that I can not use the DNS yet be able to use the local network. I have installed the SP2 patch and setup all of the IP addresses, gateways and DNS correctly to point to the server. I noticed that I am able to use a browser with an IP address but not a name/link. This points to the DNS as a problem, however I am at a loss for possible patches or hotfixes in Win2K.

Is there a cure for this?
