I've had a 17" of theirs for several years, don't remember the model number now. I do remember the sucker cost me $700. I put it on the wife's computer when I upgraded to my current dell (sony) 20" a couple of years ago. The samsung still has a good picture and my 3 yr old son thinks it makes a great writing pad for permanent black markers!!!
You may want to check the Dell computer accessory store. They have a 20% off sell going right now on all accessories and free shipping for orders over $100. You can get 15" LCD monitors in the low $300's with rebate. I believe I saw somewhere that they do have a good deal on the Samsung 19". If you have the cash/credit, I think you can get the new Sony 21" for under $700 delivered. I would love to get a LCD monitor for my wifes pc but for some reason she doesn't have the passion for constantly upgrading like I do. If you do decide to go with dell and they are showing out of stock on the monitor, you may want to give them a call. I've read posts from several people that say when they have called the csr says they are instock and that the website is showing the wrong amount in stock.
