That's one of my biggest pissoffs with IE. When Netscape can't find a server, it's _SO_ much better with the errors it gives, and you can actually tell what's wrong. What a concept.

Anyway....get her to just type in a few IP numbers, rather than domain names. If she's got the wrong IP address set for the DNS servers, which you'd have no way of knowing, she'd get that error.
