My daughters computer suddenly quit connecting to the internet. She gets a DNS error and a Server not found error. She's in Washington, MO I'm in Sharon Grove, KY....Lot of help that is 
Anyway her exhusband has been working on it (He's a programmer)..I went through all the settings on the phone with her and him and they seem right. This started after she made some changes that Earthlink gave her over the phone for the ISP.
I have looked everywhere and told him to check some more places. Got to be a file is screwed somewhere. He may just reinstall windows on it to resolve the problem. Not a networked computer...everthing is set right as far as I can tell. What am I missing? Thanks...
