I think you should go to Macromedia and reinstall their latest flash player plugin for IE. Also, maybe you could hit view/file types and see if there are any traces of FLASh still in there accosiated with that file type. If you want something easier to learn flash with...try the adobe product Live Motion.. I created stuff with that WAY faster than with Macromedia. And the interface is similar to Photoshop so there isnt really any curve. If its still a problem.... head over to www.swishzone.com and get their simple test based flash maker.... pretty neat i think. Download Version 2 beta 5 and see how simple it is... youll have to wait for the new release though to take full advantage of it, but I think it will be worth it for you.
