Ok, I've got a strange problem here. I installed a Flash 4 demo a week or so ago, and it took over my .swf file viewing. I was using IE beforehand. I could still view them with IE by using the shift+right click trick, but it was a pain so I uninstalled Flash. (It was too complex for a beginner like me anyhow.) The problem now is that I can't open the .swf files with IE at all now. I do the shift+right click thing, and they blink, but don't open at all. I tried to set IE as the default program, same thing. Any clues, or will I have to reinstall? As you can see I tolerate NO shit from winders, hell, the install is nearly a month old, and getting slow Might flush the C: drive anyhow.
Now for the other question. My SIL has an old sony computer P166, integrated A/V but has a modem installed. The sound from the CD drive's analog out goes through the modem before hitting the onboard sound. I want to replace the modem with a 56K (it's a 33.6) But I don't know if the sound from the CD player will still work. Can I just stick in the other modem along with the first, and set it to default and will everything be peachy?
