Use the ramps to jump through the rings counter clockwise. The first time you do it, you'll open up a door on the bottom of the ship. The second time the ship will fire an energy beam at Ugh Zan. Make sure Ugh is standing near the center of the playfield, or the beam will miss. It won't take a lot of damage off of him so you need to keep hitting him before completing the sequence. Just keep firing until his level turns red, then stop firing because he can do a quick regeneration and get most of his energy back if he's too low. He does regnerate slowly naturally, so once his energy creeps back up to green, take a shot at him.
