if you simply want a transferrable copy/backup of address book you need to open outlook, look under "file" > export > address book

choose to export either format and then look for the file in c: Windows/Recent or use file search

your file will be called "address book" and either .WAB or .txt, put it somewhere safe

you can import it into outlook in a similar way using the import function
