I used to have an internal 100 Meg IOMega zip drive that my MSI-6195 absolutely refused to allow me to use as a slave to my primary hardrive. It made the whole system slow down to about 1/10 normal speed.

Big file transfers between hd's that normal took seconds, then took several minutes. I was running MSI bios 1.8, and tried both the AMD driverpack, and win'98SE's drivers, without any luck. I finally had to pull out the Zip drive.
