The data bus for the memory used in the X-Box is 128 bits wide.
"it is foreseeable that it will be hopelessly obsolete by the time it comes out.. " This might be true, but without a full OS hogging rescources even a weaker system can perform quite well. For instance the PS2 has a proc somewhere in the 250-266Mhz range, and it's pretty spiffy lookin'.
