and the 700 can be replaced by the 766.
as ludi stated, what is on the mainboard?
It is probably a castrated Asus or Gigabyte board and there will be no front side bus adjustments as the pins on the motherboard to change the settings are not in there when they wave solder the board and with your limited knowledge you would cook the board soldering them in
