I doubt it because that would mean redisigning the core, wouldn't it? If it is only a quality and speed grade issue, it would be easy but as things stand right now, there are already two versions of the chipset, one limited to 64 bit bus width and the other one with the crossbar controller (Crush 11/12). In the future, I think we may see more advanced features but if you take the 57 million transistors of a GF3 and try to add them to a standard chipset... Boy that sucker would be huge. |
