If you have a CD burner you could load the driver you use least, and make a mirror image of the HDD (say the DVD happy drivers) to CD, and whenever you feel like watching a DVD just boot off of the CD. Otherwise just load the UT/Quake happy drivers from the HDD. Yeah, kinda goofy, but it'd work.
