I've got a 17" trinitron monitor that got scratched a couple moves ago. The damage is broad and shallow (perhaps "abraded" is a better term), and I think it is all in the anti-glare coating.

Would it be wise to try and buff out the defect? It does affect the image - it kind of looks like droplets of water on a TV screen. What would be good to use on it?
