instead of suck, would cpu run warmer?

Right now, I'm sucking air in through a very nice fan grill I drilled in side of case.
Unfortunately, side acted like sounding board, whole thing screamed with a standard case fan mounted there.
So, back on goes my paper air duct, which I cut to just touch the side of the case (just in case! )
Case temps on warm day go up to about 37c, cpu temp runs at steady case+11c (48c, not a problem since it used to be 60c!) with RC5 crunching.
At idle, the cpu runs 1-2 below case temp.

O.K. If I set fan to blow, add a shroud (file folder cardboard time!) around the HS like on Lost Circuits info, would cpu run a little warmer since I'm using case air instead of room air?
Of course, the case air would be cooler since I'm exhausting the cpu heat. My other components should like that, last longer this way.
Right?

Hell, someday I'll just have to try it and see!
