Usually, capturing and compressing at the same time yields very bad results for me. When I capture into uncopressed avi, or just indeo, the files are very large, (uncompressed = 200 megs for 30 seconds) but from there, it is very easy to recompress into divx or wma or whatever. try VirtualDub for recompress. Usually trying to compress while capturing drops over 70% of frames, which is terrible. hope that helps! |
