The new batteries are shaped like a quarter & are
more then likely be in a black retainer.
The problem here is also that new watch batteries
are shaped like a quarter but the older watch batteries were (fat or tall) & were much less wider then a dime (like a hearing aid battery).
So the info a watch battery size all depends on
what generation you were born & the last time you seen a watch battery. All this for something so
simple.
