Thanks for your opinions, what I have is a celeron 433w/ motherboard in my brothers comp, which I have now. I also have a K6-2 450 which I know will do 500, but no motherboard. The decision is whether to keep the 450 and get a motherboard or keep the celeron and put the K6-2 in my brothers computer. Its a second machine so it really doesn't matter. My main machine is an athlon and since I have had nothing but good luck w/ AMD I tend to lean more towards it.
